Typical Role Responsibilities

EOs are expected to:

Systems:

Assist with financial systems user support

Assist in maintaining process maps.

Support the development of financial system technologies including system testing.

Data Management:

Implement data standards based on requirements.

Ensure data consistency within and between systems/processes.

Assist with maintaining data quality including data cleansing.

Intelligent Customer Function:

Deliver services to agreed service level agreements.

HEOs are expected to:

Systems:

Manage the financial systems controls and user support processes.

Become an expert in specific E2E processes.

Ensure that financial systems procedures and processes are fully documented.

Assist with management of financial system contract.

Support the development of financial systems including identifying requirements for external suppliers.

Data Management:

Review system for data specific non-compliance and monitor data quality.

Intelligent Customer Function:

Engage with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement.

SEOs are expected to:

Systems:

Provide expert advice regarding systems and technology to internal stakeholders.

Design training courses to upskill users on processes and systems.

Develop and update systems guidance and training packages.

Lead the development of financial system technologies being a focal point for change and a subject matter expert.

Data Management:

Provide expert advice regarding data management to internal stakeholders.

Intelligent Customer Function:

Work with stakeholders to identify and solve issues and identify better ways of working.

Manage financial system contract.

G7s are expected to:

Systems:

Oversee team priorities and resourcing to ensure the effective delivery of the financial system, data and technology.

Lead the management of financial system contract.

Data Management:

Use insights from stakeholder engagement and data to effectively manage and improve the performance of systems.

Intelligent Customer Function:

Provide expert advice regarding systems and technology to stakeholders within the organisation and across government.

Enable and manage change that allows more flexibility, responsiveness and improved service delivery and user experience.

G6s are expected to:

Systems & Data Management:

Manage the effective delivery of financial systems, data and technology across the organisation, including effective controls and risk management.

Deliver business change which improves user experience via an efficient, effective and intuitive process.

Lead on major contract changes and tendering processes

Intelligent Customer Function:

Improve and transform financial systems, data and technology to meet stakeholder needs.

Provide expert advice regarding systems and technology to senior officials and external suppliers.

SCS 1s are expected to:

Systems and Data Management:

Lead and own of the effective delivery of of financial systems, data and technology across the organisation, including effective controls and risk management.

Own the business change and systems strategies ensuring lasting and tangible improvement in the user experience via an approach which is efficient, effective and delivers value for money,

Intelligent Customer Function:

Drive improvements and transformation to meet stakeholder outcomes across government and collaborating with functions.

Deliver expert advice regarding systems and technology to senior officials and external suppliers.
