Summary

Role Summary:

At this grade the risk management practitioner supports business partnering, and maintains day-to-day contact with risk managers and co-ordinators across the organisation. This role supports the business to identify, assess and monitor risk and to implement improvements in risk management maturity.

    This role does not require previous risk management experience, however individuals may have had some exposure to risk management in project or programme roles

    From Outside Finance

    This role is suitable for an individual without risk management experience who is keen to pursue a career in the risk profession. An understanding of The Orange Book is beneficial.

    Progression Routes

    HEOs seeking progression to SEO would benefit from exposure to leading / owning a business partner relationship, leading / owning delivery on strategic reporting, and developing a robust understanding of governance processes, including internal audit, planning and performance.
