Financial Accounting and Reporting G6s are expected to lead the team through the production of the relevant parts of the statutory financial accounts and estimates at a Strategic level, highlighting the key issues, risks and opportunities to senior stakeholders. They will also lead the production of other formal external reporting outputs, including Estimates Memorandum for Parliament, liaising with Select Committees, and responses to Parliamentary Questions and FOIs.

Essential:
Providing advice and guidance to their team and senior managers on all aspects of Financial Accounting and Estimates as a recognised expert
Taking accountability and ownership for the production and management review of the statutory financial accounts .
Drafting and presenting reports to Audit Committee and other key stakeholders on the key features of the financial accounts and status of key issues and risks in the production of the financial accounts
Taking accountability and ownership for the submission of Main and Supplementary Estimates and ambits to HM Treasury
Drafting of the Estimates memorandum for Parliament and of responses to ad hoc Parliamentary Questions and FOIs which relate to external reporting outputs.
Taking responsibility for producing outputs for Select Committees and liaising with relevant stakeholders
